1 Sounds like COVID hit the old man hard! But then, he's had a bunch of shots -- the whole nine yards, I hear -- and that has to have made him more susceptible to problems. I had COVID a couple years ago, but I was a couple years younger than he at that time and I'd only had the minimum two shots, so the fact that I only had a couple of sniffles is probably not even significant. This is a problem with the elderly (snicker).

2 Yep. I really think the more shots the more susceptible a person is. I had the standard two and wish I hadn't, frankly.

3 You and me both, Bro. I consider myself very lucky not to have suffered any ill effects from them. And since my wife is very sensitive to all sorts of medications, she didn't go within a country mile of those shots -- lucky for her.

When we DID get COVID, her daughter in Yonkers started barking orders over the phone about how we were going to have to isolate ourselves, yada yada (she's a card-carrying leftist, of course). We let her go on for three sentences and then said "STOP! We've been sharing each other's germs since 1988 and a little thing like COVID isn't going to mess us up now." Surprised the dickens out of her but she did shut up.
