The Revenge of USAID

Timothy Birdnow

Despite having it's funding cut USAID is STILL tampering with the electoral process in Europe, funding the Polish coup and tampering with others.

And it turns out, quite a bit of cash is still flowing overseas, thanks to USAID.

We’ve traced the money through Serbia and Poland, two countries that have experienced insane political upheaval recently, and what we uncovered will raise a few eyebrows and some blood pressure, to boot.

We’re talking about American-funded organizations involved in cough, cough, "election monitoring,” voter mobilization, civic activism, and political education. Some of these groups have received millions in US government funding while gleefully declaring how their work has contributed to major political changes. And in case you’re wondering, "work” means squashing grassroots right-wing uprisings and political wins.

So the filthy hands of the American Left are funding this still. I imagine George Soros and the WEF have contributed as well.

The article continues:

But it’s not as easy as it used to be, since President Trump cut off USAID money. It’s getting harder for these groups to work, but we found that they built quite an impressive infrastructure that has sustained them, even when Trump turned off the tap. These orgs spent years building and padding their operations to get them through the "dry times.” They have outside donors and European funding networks helping keep parts of the civil-society system operating, but we’ve uncovered that there’s even more to it.

[...]

There’s something really big going down in Europe. You can practically smell the coups and color revolutions in the air, so we started digging into it because of a question that keeps coming up, thanks to the USAID days…

Why does American taxpayer money always seem to turn up in leftwing organizations heavily involved in other countries’ elections and political movements?

And what’s happened to the organizations who are still operating, even after DC stopped cutting checks?

The coup in Poland and the color revolution unfolding in Serbia got us wondering how much money US taxpayers are unwittingly shelling out for this chaos across the Atlantic.

And it turns out, quite a bit of cash is still flowing overseas, thanks to USAID.

Now, before we get into the money, there’s something important to understand about how these movements work.

A government doesn’t have to be overthrown by soldiers storming the presidential palace. Sometimes political power changes hands after months of demonstrations, public-pressure campaigns, organized opposition, and elections. The process can involve genuine public anger over issues while also using money, training, and attention from powerful organizations outside the country to keep the fires raging.

And Serbia knows that process intimately and has a remarkable history of American meddling in its political organizing.

So that’s where we’re starting.

On October 25, 2026, Serbia had one of the biggest political shakeups in its modern history.

Aleksandar Vucic’s Serbian, the populist right-wing leader of the Progressive Party, which had dominated the country’s government for about 14 years, was defeated by a student-backed political movement.

It was an extraordinary turn of events.

The student movement grew out of a horrifying tragedy in November 2024, when a concrete canopy collapsed at the railway station in Novi Sad, killing 16 people.

The station had just undergone renovations as part of a Chinese-backed infrastructure project, and the disaster triggered massive public anger over corruption, government negligence, and lack of accountability.

What started as protests over those deaths turned into something so much bigger.

Students organized demonstrations, blockaded universities, and somehow managed to supposedly build a movement that would challenge and defeat Serbia’s political leadership.

Vucic saw the writing on the wall. He warned over and over that foreign money was helping orchestrate a color revolution against his government.

And after almost two years of riots and unrest, his party lost its parliamentary majority.

The student-backed movement won a decisive election victory, with preliminary results giving it about 53 percent of the vote.

Very curious indeed.

Was this simply a grassroots domestic protest movement that eventually brought down an unpopular government? Or were foreign organizations helping build the political infrastructure surrounding it?

To understand what’s really going on, we need to go back to the last time Serbia experienced a famous political revolution.

And the American involvement in that earlier upheaval is very well documented.

Back in 2000, another Serbian leader, Slobodan Milosevic, was facing another very determined opposition movement. And American political consultants weren’t watching from the sidelines… they were in the thick of things.

A December 2000 WAPO investigation revealed that the US had supported an extensive operation involving opposition training, polling, campaign strategies, voter education, and that infamous "election monitoring.”

It was reported that America dumped about 41 million bucks in democracy assistance.

WAPO:

U.S.-funded consultants played a crucial role behind the scenes in virtually every facet of the anti-Milosevic drive.

Every facet, eh?

Forty-one million dollars of American taxpayer money was helping left-wing opposition groups develop political messages, train activists, conduct polling, and organize election monitoring in another sovereign country.

And most of this operation was openly funded through American government programs and nonprofits.

One of the most famous groups involved was "Otpor,” a Serbian student resistance movement that helped bring down Milosevic.

As a matter of fact, its organizing tactics were so good they later taught "resistance strategies” around the world. You have to wonder if they’ve been to France or Italy lately.

But this brings us to another question US taxpayers should be asking:

If American-funded political organizing played such a massive role in Serbia’s 2000 upheaval, what kind of American-supported political infrastructure was operating when the latest protests began?

Well, we think we can answer that. We found a very interesting organization, and the financial records are sitting right out in the open.

Meet CRTA, otherwise known as "Center for Research, Transparency, and Accountability.”

It’s a Serbian nonprofit involved in election observation, political research, media monitoring, civic education, and public accountability… in other words, a typical leftwing NGO.

But what is really interesting is there’s a federal funding trail that connects CRTA directly to USAID.

The US government awarded CRTA a cooperative agreement for an "Elections Integrity Activity” in Serbia. The award number is: 72016923CA00002.

They were gifted nearly $2.9 million and another $832,000 later.

That’s US taxpayer money going straight into a Serbian left-wing org working in the country’s electoral system.

And that US money was lifeblood for CRTA.

[...]

The USAID money is about a third of its entire reported income.

And look at the other donors listed in that same report… Swedish development assistance and the British Embassy. CRTA also received funding from European institutions, foreign embassies, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and the National Endowment for Democracy.

The 2000 color revolution had some very serious international financial backing, mainly from the US.

And as you likely already have figured out, the CRTA’s work went way beyond sending a handful of volunteers to watch people cast ballots or show them where to sign their name.

Annual reports describe election observation, political research, media monitoring, legal assistance, support for civic initiatives, and public-information campaigns, also known as "propaganda.” All of these are activities that have major influence on a country’s political environment.

[...]

Enter the Rockefeller Brothers… a philanthropic group that exists to advance social change that contributes to a more just, sustainable, and peaceful world. This is their website:

A crowd of young people holding protest signs to fight climate change

And here’s where everything starts lining up.

In 2025, the Trump admin started dismantling USAID and canceling thousands of foreign-assistance agreements.

CRTA’s election-integrity award appears on a March 2025 list of terminated USAID programs. But in 2026, the organization continued receiving financial support from other sources.

And one of those sources was the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

This story goes on and on, following the money trail in Serbia. It's the internationalists promoting a coup there, and in Poland, and probably in France as well.

And if the Democrats lose after the media hyped polls showing they would win? Riots and demonstrations and probably an attempted coup against the Trump Administration.

Anyway, the American Marshall Fund sunk a wad into putting Tusk in power in Poland:

That image is the German Marshall Fund’s own description of its American-funded work during Poland’s election.

The report goes even deeper, and credits the projects with "contributing to an election outcome that opened the door to restoring liberal constitutionalism and changing the country’s political direction.”

Read this entire article. It's long but worth your trouble. What is happening in Europe is a dress rehearsal for what they plan to do here in the U.S.

The Democrats are on record saying they will pack the Supreme Court, and they've talked of imposing "ethics" rules on a coequal branch of government (meaning Congress can't do that). They are going to try to do this if they win both houses of Congress, mark my words, and it will be accompanied by rioters outside of SCOTUS chambers and their homes.

That is what we will get if they win.
