The GOP is trying to make it hard, if not impossible, to remove Mike Johnson as Speaker with a new rules package requireing ten Republican votes to declare the Speaker's chair vacant.

so why do this? McCarthy was forced into a straightjacket for doing nothing worse than Mike Johnson has already done.

They need to carry on with the rules in place; we need to be able to fire Johnson. Shoot; we should have fired Johnson when he screwed us the first time (he's up to four betrayals of our side now and still going.)
