Interesting.
Their study, published today in Science Advances, shows that the inner core changed direction in the six-year period from 1969-74, according to the analysis of seismic data. The scientists say their model of inner core movement also explains the variation in the length of day, which has been shown to oscillate persistently for the past several decades.

Antarctica pulses up and down, pushing "rivers of ice” through the mountain passes of the Transantarctic Mountain range from East Antarctica to West Antarctica and out onto the Ross Ice Shelf.
Pulsations passing through the Earth induce compressive heating on the underside of the Lithosphere. Another unappreciated internal heating mechanism which warms the oceans and drives weather & climate.
The cause of these pulsations is the GeoReactor.
