The Media No Longer Informs

We have a media which no longer serves to inform the people.
NBC News has a piece that asks the question, "Covid immunity through infection or vaccination: Are they equal?†and then purports to answer it in the negative. It makes endless nonsensical statements in the process.
Such as saying that, "hospital workers are screened for measles and chicken pox antibodies to help prevent the spread of diseases,†despite the fact that the presence or absence of antibodies has nothing whatever to do with immunity and any medically trained person knows that. Immunity has to do with your immune system having been trained in how to make antibodies quickly, not on whether or not antibodies are present.
It does cite a "large study from Israel which showed better protection from infection than from vaccination,†but merely discards it by saying that Dr. Fauci has not yet given it his blessing. It cites no actual studies to the contrary, but merely quotes several doctors who claim without evidence (you see what I did there?) that natural immunity fades very quickly.
The article quotes a CDC spokesman who says that "current evidence shows a wide variation in antibody response after Covid infection.†As if antibodies had anything to do with immunity. They do not. They have to do with defense against a virus, but immunity is about the ability to produce antibodies quickly when needed.
Some doctor at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is quoted as saying that a "massive effort is underway to determine what level of antibodies is protective,†which is about as absurd as another doctor’s statement that, "If you are not vaccinated you are going to get Covid.â€

Places such as NBC News no longer believe in journalism; that much is obvious. It used to be that if you were given the job of writing about something, you were considered qualified to discuss the subject. That obviously isn't the case anymore, though we do still have some good journalists around. They just don't work for the alphabet networks.
