The Incredible Shrinking Biden - Again

Timothy Birdnow

More evidence Joe Biden is folding like a circus tent.

But of course this article  takes pains to downplay TRUMP'S role here:

Biden’s overall approval rating in the poll was 39 percent, and just 74 percent among Democrats.

And in hypothetical head-to-heads, Biden is neck and neck with most of his potential Republican opponents, including former President Donald Trump, the front-runner for the GOP nomination. Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) led Biden by 6 points in a theoretical general election match-up between the two, according to the CNN poll.

See, they are desperate to keep Trump off the ballot and so are  talking about Nikki Haley, who hasn 't got a snowman's chance in South Carolina to win. They know that. They want to muddy the waters and keep the pressure on to dump Trump. Notice it's a CNN poll they use that says Haley would win by 6 points; other polls   show Trump up that far or farther.

And of course if the GOP dumps Trump it will  fracture the coalition and likely lead to a Biden victory. We'll have a Ross Perot situation in all probability, with people voting Trump even though he's not on the ballot (assuming he doesn't run as an independent.)

This line cracks me up:

Some Democrats and Biden allies were quick to argue that it’s far too early in the 2024 cycle to put much stock in head-to-head matchups, that Biden has a strong track record to run on and that his campaign is already using resources to mobilize voters and run ads in battleground states.

A strong record to run on? If by strong they mean it stinks on ice I would agree. Which victories are we discussing here? The humiliation in the Afghanistan withdrawal? The sky high inflation? The skyrocketing oil prices? The surreal spending? The Stasi tactics of the FBI and other government agencies? The abuse of law to attack a political rival? The wonderful security at our border which is just letting in over three million illegal aliens a year?  Forest fires all over that Biden does not address? The imprisonment of protesters in solitary without trial for trespassing?

I guess the two tiered justice system is a grand achievement? I guess skyrocketing crime is just dandy? Speech codes and restrictions on the First Amendment are fine? Rioting and looting when it involves minorities is just peachy? I guess tying up our resources (like uranium or oil) and thus empowering the Chinese is fine? I guess taking bribe money from Ukraine and from China is a great accomplishment?

I guess Americans like spending billions on border security for Ukraine but not Texas? And we are just itching to get into a hot war with  the Russians because, like, there's a writer's strike on and so there's nothing but repeats on the t.v.!

Ford Motor Company is about to go on strike. My  brother is in his last year there before he retires, and he is worried because he's afraid his pension is going down. As he says, they haven't gotten cost-of-living raises in ages, and it's killing him with the sky-high inflation rates. Pension ers are having to seriously downgrade their life-styles because the pensions have lost their buying power (of course most of these UAW workers vote for the policies which caused that.) So there is general disgust in the working class and with good reason. i think even many of these union types will vote Trump,  even if they won't say so - the polls likely are overweighted to Biden and the Democrats.

But Biden just has to talk about his accomplishment, yessirree!

"These numbers are not good, and they’re consistent with most of the other polling that we’ve seen. The country is in a sour mood. He’s not getting credit for what I think is a fairly substantial list of achievements,” David Axelrod, a former Obama White House and campaign strategist, said on CNN.

Bwahahaha! Solid list of achievements? I guess if you think reviving the Iran Nuclear Deal is an achievement then maybe. Or empowering China.

Uh, David old buddy, did it ever occur to you that Biden and the radicals in the Democratic Party are the reason we are "sour". That perhaps it is the Progressive policies that are turning the U.S. into a Soviet Republic that is the core of  said "sourness"?

"There’s an expression in sports that, you know, sometimes you have to win ugly. And I think that’s what lies ahead here for this president and this White House.”

Here we go. Axelrose, er, Axelrod is telling us what they plan to do. They are going to "win ugly" meaning cheat,  steal, attack, use the force of law, any dirty trick they can muster to win. And the GOP will no doubt stand there like sheep in the field, vacant expressions on their bland faces while the Democrat wolves descend on them. And when it's over the RINO  Republicans will uncover their heads and say what a valiant effort they made and how "we'll get 'em next time".

and why are voters turning against Biden?  Not his policies but his age they claim.

But what does his age have to do with it? Reagan was old when he was President and the public  would have elected him to a third term. Trump's about the same age and there is a real chance  he'll be elected.

No, the fact is it's Biden's policies. But the media wants to discuss age to excuse Biden's sins, and those sins stem not from missteps or a lack of proper vigor but from a dark, evil agenda that  is trying to fundamentally transform America. Americans don't like it. We are happy with the country we grew up within.

Naturally the media won't say that, so they will blame it on Biden's age, and with luck they can convince the public that Biden is a decent man (he's not and never has been) who has just gotten a tad too old. It's not the case; he cut a deal with the power brokers in the DNC to be President and let them actually run things. This is the agenda of the Deep State, the rule of the bureaucracy and the giant corporations and the military industrial complex. It is the regime of the CIA and FBI and NSA. It is the regime of the internationalists and technocrats and corporatist/socialists. Most Americans don't understand that, but they do sense something is seriously amiss.

They also noted that polling suggested in the lead-up to the 2022 midterms that a so-called red wave would lead to massive Republican gains in Congress, only for the GOP to fall well short of expectations.

Gee: I wonder why? Could it  be because of vote fraud? THAT, my friends, was Mr. Biden's truly great achievement. He was the man who "created the most inclusive and extensive vote fraud machine in history". I guess Americans like having their votes simply canceled by fake ones.

The fact of the matter is the Democrats have known this for some time, which is why they have gone all out, violated every rule, every convention, even broken  laws to  destroy Donald Trump. They are DESPERATE. They pushed too far, showed their hand, and now they are desperately trying to find a way out.

The reality is the people behind Biden are radicals who seek the destruction of America as it was founded and seek to create their own socialist state here. This is a revolution, the real insurrection. It's done through stealth and the control of the media, but it is an insurrection nonetheless. And they know it, which is why they may well dump Brandon. They are going to use every trick, fair or foul, to keep power.

If they do America is lost.
