In the media Hoggasm, the deification of potty mouthed teen David Hogg, the guy who happened to be at the Parkland shooting and has now stolen more than his fifteen minutes of fame as the face of the gun grabber "March for their lies, er, lives" another scalp has been taken.

Jamie Allman is a radio talk show host in St. Louis as well as host of The Allman Report on local television. Allman has been a familiar face here for a long time; a news reporter and former spokesman for the St. Louis Archdiocese, Allman has also guest hosted frequently for Laura Ingraham. But Allman made a big misstep when he joked about swatting the Hogg with a fireplace poker. Allman lost his television gig after tweeting he was " about to put a red hot poker up David Hogg's a##" This has been almost universally reported as a "threat" despite the fact that any reasonable person who reads this would conclude Allman was speaking metaphorically.

But now Allman is losing his radio show as well.

NEW YORK – A conservative commentator who tweeted about using "a hot poker” to sexually assault a 17-year-old survivor of the Florida high school shooting has lost a second St. Louis broadcast job.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Esther-Mireya Tejeda of Entercom Communications said Tuesday night that KFTK-FM has "parted ways” with Jamie Allman. His radio show was among the biggest morning drive-time draws. The cancellation came just one day after Sinclair Broadcast Group announced that Allman’s KDNL-TV show had been canceled and that Allman had resigned.

Look, the tweet was tasteless and quite stupid of Allman, but he probably sent it out in frustration at the kid-glove treatment Hogg is receiving - and the fact that Hogg has managed to seriously imperil Laura Ingraham's livelihood through boycott threats. No doubt Allman was trying to make a point. It was inartfully done, but there was no real threat involved. The cowardice of the sponsors - and of the networks - is astonishing.

Strange; liberal celebrity types have been making multiple threats against Donald Trump and other Republicans with little more than a yawn from the media. Breitbart chronicles a few here. Among some of the more memorable that went completely unremarked upon include:

Or how about Terry McCauliff making threats to punch out Donald Trump while Chris Matthews yucks it up.

Or Kamala Harris joking about murdering Trump.

HereHere is another list of violent comments against conservtives by liberal media types.

And none of these people paid any price, but let a conservative open their mouths and they are gone. We have got to reverse this trend.

I'm going to boycott 97.1 fm talk and I urge any other St. Louisan to do the same. It's past time we start doing what the Left has been doing for all these years.
