Notre Dame is Catholic, or used to be.

The bible makes it quite clear:

1 Corinthians 6

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind....shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven

DDEUTERONOMY 22:5

There shall not be an article of a man upon a woman, and a man shall not put on a wrapper of a woman, because everyone doing (who does) these (things) is an abomination of (unto) the Lord your God.

Genesis 1:27

And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.

Romans 1:25-27 does not specifically mention transgenderism but it discusses homosexuality and how it is a  mortal sin. Transgendered are generally homosexuals.

25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

In short, it is indeed a sin to be transgendered, as it is to be homosexual - or carnal in other ways such as being an adulterer or slut - including man-slut.

But it is sin and celebrating it at Catholic university is absolutely beyond the pale.

Is it any surprise though? They changed their fight song just this year. Maybe instead of being fighting Irish they can be the hissing trannies!
