The Great Reset

2020 has begun what a few call as The Great Reset. Strip people of their outer layer of protection. Make them dependent upon others (primarily the govt) as you follow the scraps to be tossed your way. Endless propaganda to be remote. Isolated. Insulated. Disbanded. Less connected. What was once common knowledge (anti-social behavior is got good for you) has been turned on its head: "An entire anti-social new lifestyle is 'healthy' for you." I've never heard more of a bigger propaganda push on the airwaves than the constant flow of commercials to "stay safe." And now this movement has its own multiplied disciples, all in the name of "safism." I heard a Chuck Colson commentary in the 90s talking about the then-new "safist" movement: The movement to make America "safe" for atheists. I saw how sexual minority affinity groups in the early 2000s embraced pink triangles at their work desks as a symbol of a "safe space." The entire climate change movement is based upon the notion that mankind can "control" nature and climate and "safeguard" it . However, we are not God. Only He is sovereign. Safe measures are important; but once they become all-consuming, then anyone who gets in the way of "safism" becomes the new community "heretic" to be ostracized. Be careful of the bandwagon "safist" movement. Most mean well. However, operatives behind these cultural maneuverings exploit fear, panic, and anxiety. To say as a great understatement,

Agreed! They are using this notion of staying safe as a tool to advance leftist ideology. Notice how there is a movement to get people to rat out their neighbors for not social distancing, or having too many people over for the holidays? They are going to get this accepted as the norm. I had a nasty shouting match with some woman who began screaming at me at the ophthomologist because I was helping to support my wife and so not social distancing. She was just a passer-by, but she thought she had a right to start screaming at me about it. That's the world we are buiding with this.
