Just got to thinking about the El Niño, the event that typically occurs around Christmas but can wax or wane over a year or more.
At a 95% Confidence Level (statistically significant) the El Niño correlates with heightened seismic activity along the East Pacific Rise and the Easter Island Micro-Plate.
The Christmas timing of the El Niño is also the Winter Solstice, when the planet wobbles from Autumn to Winter. Certainly it would seem that Earth’s gyroscopic action imposes forces on the Earth’s crust.
Re: Global Warming.
Look to the oceans, look to hydrothermal vents, look to mantle plume hot spots, look to the myriad exothermic chemical reactions going on 24/7 in the Upper Mantle to produce SO2, H2S, CO2, all of the acid gases, metal sulfides, methane, and oil.
The pH of your blood must be maintained precisely between pH 7.3 to 7.4. The pH of the ocean waters is deemed to have been about 8.2 in pre-Industrial times vs. approx. 8.1 today. Ppffft. Carbonic acid from dissolved CO2 is about as weak an acid as you can find. Look to those acid gases.
Our ancient anaerobic ancestors lingered just outside the hot, deeply acidic hydrothermal vent stream. Not too acidic, not to basic. We exist because of those myriad hydrothermal vents.
Man is doing nothing to cause this fictional "climate crisisâ€. We’re just along for the bus ride.
