Church largely has failed in it's responsibility to consistently and
seriously confront those who attack her. Syncretism has proved a
deadly and debilitating virus.
Piss
Christ, the portrait of Mary with excrement surrounding her; the
constant attacks on her standards like same sex "marriage;" the near
silence on the absolute reality of the binary nature of male and
female...Here is where Church authorities should and could speak out
more vigorously,including the pope. Yes, a few speak, but not enough.
Islamists outdo Christians in outrage. Not that we should imitate
their intimidating and often deadly tactics, but where is the outrage?
Weakness invites attacks.
