Or the teamster leadership has decided not to bite the hand that feeds it. The leadership knows that one day it will need govt bailouts to save it from pension spending.

No doubt you are correct on that Mike. But then I wouldn't agree it was cowardice on the part of the unon but rather the union behaving as labor unions do - and that means standing loyally with the Democrats policy be damned.
