And do you think this was accidental? Spur-of-the-moment? Sorry, I don't. Anymore than all the invaders on our Southern border, many of whom have COVID and a number of other diseases.

Somewhat trivial, but the Afhgani is a unit of currency. People who come from Afghanistan are Afghans. When I read authors referring to people as Afghanis I assume they do not know what they are talking about.

Sorry, Bill; you're correct on all counts. I meant "Afghans." But those could also mean knitted or crocheted blankets.
