Wow, wow, wow! My friend David Fowler takes SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts to the woodshed--while explaining exactly why Texas's lawsuit against the battleground states whose secretaries of states or courts unconstitutionally sought to change their election laws is not just sound but fundamentally important to the preservation of our Constitutional order!

Well our states do compete with each other, but that is an aberration based on greed, not a feature of the constitutional organization of our nation.
The Supreme Court’s point would be valid if it was in regard to local elections of local officials, but the objection which Texas filed was in regard to a national election for a federal official whose decisions and rulings would affect all states, including Texas. To say that another state cheating in that election was none of Texas’ business was fatuous beyond comprehension.
Texas would be completely justified in claiming that if they had no standing with respect to the election which put Biden into office, then they would not be subject to any rulings or decisions which he made after he was inaugurated.

One of the primary functions of the Federal government is the regulation of interstate commerce. This directly impacts that. As you say a local election may have no bearing, but C'mon Man! This clearly, unequivocally affects interstate commerce.
