We all know that the businesses recovering from the Covid shutdown don't need all that extra money they haven't been paying in taxes! Mostly they roll cigars with hundreds and smoke them while their employees are shackled in mines for 14 hours a day!

1 I admit Manchin disappointed me, but then I remembered Aesop's Fable about the (whatever animal, can't remember) letting a snake take him across a river (I really should look the story up, it could have been the other way with the participants), and getting bitten by the snake before the job was done. Snake's excuse was "It's my nature." Manchin is, after all, a Democrat.

And I won't hold out a lot of hope for the lovely Sinema babe, either.

It's true Dana. Democrats have party discipline. In the end Manchin or Sinnema will obey the leadership, or lose their committee assignments and maybe re-election funds. They can't split from the Party. Very different from the way the GOP operates.

That's why it's absolutely vital not to elect any Democrat, no matter how good they sound. Too few understand that.

4 Yes, Timothy, by ball means elect Republicans. It won't change anything, but it will make you feel better. When has a Republican Congress ever undone the damage done by a preceding Democrat one? "We couldn't do anything because the Democrat president would have just vetoed it."
