Sorry for the week-long outage; technical difficulties at the Mee.nu site. I posted the articles I had waiting for the return of the site if they were not just old news, and will post new ones if possible today (busy day).

Tim, that's the third time that I can remember that the site has been down for a week or more. I was within a day of crossing it off my viewing list. I hope you are getting the service for free, because you are not doing your viewers any favors by using a third world hosting service.

Getting harder to find trained carrier pigeons!

Bill, in speaking to Tim on the phone occasionally, I've asked him if this site operates with string and Dixie cups, and while not confirming it, he hasn't come out and said NO.

Bill,I assure you this site is worth every penny I pay for it. You can't expect more when someone is doing it for free.
Also, I have no ads so there is zero revenue for them. It's purely a good deed by the folks at mee.nu.
Dana is correct; inclement weather means the strings get wet as do the Dixie cups.
Carrier pigeon might well work Mike; I've got to look into THOSE!

Actually gang this did me a favor in a way as I had no time to do the blog anyway this last week. I am in one crazy time right now, what with my sick wife and sick father (both in the same facility, ust down the hall from each-other.)

Not sure what it costs to feed carrier pigeons, Tim, or if they can forage for themselves. I'll have to look into that for you.

I would imagine they can forage Dana. Look at all the pigeons in the parks! And all their droppings on cars. These are wild pigeons but they were ALL wild pigeons once. I once read that pigeons were bred by man to be carrier pigeons originally and all wild pigeons are descended from them. That's why they hang around human beings; it was what we bred them to do before we devised better ways to communicate and thus no longer needed them. Kind of sad really.
