Guess Governor Nuisance has been taking his lead from South Africa. I mean, they have gotten so GOOD at stealing white lands! Who cares if the people who he wants to give the land to can actually work it or make it productive! All that matters is that white guys don't own it!

‘Stolen Land’: Gavin Newsom’s ‘Agricultural Equity’ Advisers Prepare Plan To Redistribute Farmland to Racial Minorities
California Democratic governor Gavin Newsom's "agricultural equity" advisers are finalizing recommendations for the state to redistribute farmland to non-white Californians and Native American tribes through land transfers and financial assistance programs that exclusively benefit racial minorities.
For more than two years, the California Agricultural Land Equity Task Force—part of Newsom's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation—has crafted a set of policy recommendations to "equitably increase agricultural land access." It will deliver a final report to Newsom and the California legislature cementing those recommendations by the end of the year.The task force's latest draft report, published ahead of the task force’s August meeting earlier this month, calls to deploy state resources to give non-white Californians a leg up in acquiring farmland, an effort it portrays as a form of reparations. The report says California should gift large amounts of state-owned lands to Native Americans, adopt indigenous knowledge practices for land management, and provide low-interest loans, downpayment assistance, and grants to fund land acquisition to black farmers.
Those and other policies, according to the task force, will help solve California's "agricultural land equity crisis." Land ownership statistics prove such discrimination exists, according to the report, which laments that "82% of privately held farmland in California is owned by producers who identify as white.

The federal government tried a similar program, low interest loans for acquiring real estate exclusively to minorities, and it was found by the Supreme Court to be illegal racial discrimination. Gruesome Newsome's plan will certainly fail the same test.

Right you are, Bill -- IF the right people complain and the right courts (in this case, SCOTUS) gets the case.
And as Tim says, will these people want to farm the land? The "indigenous people" can likely make more shekels from casinos. And I think the jury is still out on whether blacks will want to farm the land. My guess is that they would rather do other work, like teach school, be accountants, run restaurants, do jobs in Information Systems, etc. And the lazy ones would prefer to hold government jobs.

Exactly right Bill. Itt's clearly unconstitutional. I remember when the Feds tried to do this - I believe Obama tried it and also Biden if I'm not mistaken.
But when has a court ruling ever stopped a leftist? And then they dare call Trump lawless.
Yeah Dana; grubbing in the dirt isn't a minority thing by and large. The Indians used to laugh at white men for doing it; they thought farming, with the exception of some light gardening by their women, was ridiculous and so they didn't do it. Black people did farm, even freedmen in the old days. But again, grubbing in the dirt isn't something that a gangbanger from Haarlem is going to aspire to do.
I remember years ago a commercial with a rapper whose tour bus breaks down in farm country. He cuts through the wheat field "this dude need to cut his grass!" the rapper exlcaimed. Imagine that guy farming.
