SCOTUS Sides with Coach who Prayed

SCOTUS sides with a high school football coach in a First Amendment case about prayer at the 50-yard-line. In a 6-3 ruling, SCOTUS says the public school district violated the coach's free speech and free exercise rights when it barred him from praying on the field after games.

4 It's looking good, although I wish the majority would have heeded Clarence Thomas and kept the door open to review other bad precedents.

Still, it is encouraging Dana.

5 I wish they had, too, but there are only so many hours in a day, and those dudes have a lot of stuff thrown onto their plates these days.

6 True. And they don't want to be assaulted - which is what will happen if they admit they are going to start looking at all the bad precedents.

They can't rely on Uncle Joe to actually enforce the law and protect them.

7 Your last statement is the scary part. We really need to get a Republican into the White House ASAP.

8 Agreed. The President is the chief magistrate and law enforcer. If he refuses to do his job we are in trouble.

That is grounds for impeachment, in my opinion. The President can't refuse to enforce the law. It's his primary job description.

If the GOP retakes Congress they need to look at impeaching this creep.
