Scoldilocks: "Time to Panic"

This from Willis Eschenbach:

Why do I think Greta is a clueless idiot? At Davos she said "We are still telling you to panic!"

Yes, panicking is such a brilliant response, especially to an "emergency" that you can't even see unless you have a PhD.

Seriously, what problem was EVER made better by panicking? I know of none.

Greta, you can panic if you wish. But unlike your parents, we DO love our children. That's the reason we don't want them to panic.

w.

PS—Don't bother trying to rag on me for commenting on her idiocy because she's only 17. Either Greta is entitled to a full adult voice and a seat at Davos as she's insisted on and gotten, along with all the opportunity for abuse that adult status entails, or she's an innocent child who should go back to school and we shouldn't diss her in any way.

She doesn't get to be both. If you want to run with the big dogs, you gotta get off the porch.

1 "Don't bother trying to rag on me for commenting on her idiocy because she's only 17. Either Greta is entitled to a full adult voice and a seat at Davos as she's insisted on and gotten..."

The one(s) to rag on are the morons, idiots who gave her the seat at Davos.

2 A regular on Chris Muir's Day By Day cartoon site had the following to say about Scoldilocks: "Greta is autistic, suffering from Asperger’s. A major symptom of Asperger’s is obsession on a major topic."

Obsession on a major topic -- that she certainly has!

He/she goes on to observe "Both her parents and handlers should be prosecuted for child abuse, using her like a meat puppet." Those who write on this site have made similar observations in the past.

3 I'll just make one more comment about St. Greta: if she thinks we've stolen her childhood now, just wait till she ceases to be the Flavor of the Month and even her adoring crowd starts ignoring her. What then? Will Hillary invite her over for a box of Chardonnay so they can commiserate "We used to be a contender?" Will Hillary giver her the name of her ghostwriter so Gretel can "write" a book about "What Didn't Happen?" Dream on.

Does anybody ever talk about Cindy "Mother" Sheehan anymore? Do they?

4 Amen to all, Dana.  Greta will be discarded like an orange rind when her time is up. She's not going to understand what happened to her, either.  It really is sad, puffing this little girl up like that only to let her deflate as they  will do.
