Rising Sea Levels and Killer Tarps

Sea levels have been rising for a couple hundred years. Long before the supposed man made cause of CO2 released to be recycled in the air. HOW DO THE ALARMISTS EXPLAIN THE WARMING AND SEA LEVEL RISE BEFORE MAN ADDED CO2?

NASA satellite data, collected since 1993, show global sea level rising merely 1.2 inches per decade, that’s a foot a century. That’s not MUCH different than the sea-level rise since the 1800s.

I did research a few months ago after a report that Miami FL would be underwater in less than twenty years... Well according to stats from ocean markers near Miami it will take over 300 years for the current rise of sea level to get to Miami. Something like 0.02 inches versus 3 feet...

This got me to thinking:

Douglas  that made me laugh. I live in St. Louis Mo. and back in the eighties - 1985 to be exact, the year we lost to Kansas City - we had perhaps the fastest base runner in professional baseball on the Cardinals - Vince Coleman. Coleman got injured just before the World Series in a freak accident involving the tarp they were pulling over the field during a rain delay. There was a hilarious skit on television featuring the music from "Jaws" and showing Coleman fleeing while the tarp crept up on him, to eventually take him down. Your comment brought that back to mind! I envision this sea level creeping up over three hundred years and a bunch of terrified Miamians running in terror. Gee the AGW people would be hysterical if they weren't so dangerous!

1 So the alarmists believe Miami will be under water in twenty years. How, then, do they explain that the big money men ("bankers") have no qualms about making big loans to property developers to build ocean front hi-rises in Miami? These developments are certainly expected to be usable (i.e. produce income) for longer than twenty years, and these financiers are not in the habit of wasting their money if these developments were to be drowned within twenty years.

2 Indeed Dana; it's totally ridiculous. If anyone really believed this they would be selling beachfront property and buying up land further back.

Reminds me of the Superman movie starring Christopher Reeves and Gene Hackman. Lex Luthor wants to use an atomic bomb to trigger a massive earthquake to split California off from the continental U.S. and he bought up all the cheap land that would become beachfront. We just aren't seeing that happen.
