RESIST! runs out of gas.
Rage can only be maintained for so long, especially when it is all fake and phoney.
The apltly named Rebecca Lee Funk, founder of Outrage, says the troops are exhausted and just can't work up the rage that they used to surf the comatose stumbling geriatric Biden to victory.
Saul Alinsky admonished his followers to always stick with tactics they enjoy. They aren't enjoying this. and he said "a tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag" which is precisely what Trump hatred has become. They know in their hearts there is no sane reason to hate Trump as they do; it's purely a tactic. And it has drug on too long.
That's why the Democrats are going to have to pull a rabbit out of their hats. Most likely a dark horse candidate will step in at the last.

I'd think it's more likely the donkeys will pull a skunk out of their hats than a rabbit. I think all of their possible candidates are slower than rabbits.

Actually, you're using standard terminology and I'm using more along the lines of scatology. I'm having more fun with it than you are. I was also considering using the term "dark horses-asses" but then was afraid someone would accuse me of (gasp) RAAAAAACISM.
