Reduced Carbon Footprint

Michael Smith

I can't believe Secretary Mayor Pete isn't congratulating Southwest for all the carbon they are saving by not flying planes.

2 Methinks -- or suspects anyhow -- that Pete Butt-gig is keeping a low profile on this one because he knows he has nothing sensible to say and knows that everybody else knows that too... And that he'd prefer that there's less for his opponents to find out there on the Internet to bite him with the next time he mounts a totally futile campaign for public office.

Just my idea...

3 After 1920, even women began to smoke cigarettes. Now google allows me to quickly find cigarettes near me even with delivery. The development of the global tobacco industry was in full swing, and the outbreak of World War II only increased the number of smokers - millions of cigarettes were sent by tobacco companies to soldiers participating in combat battles. The image of many famous actors of the post-war period, for whom the cigarette became an integral attribute, became a kind of propaganda for smoking, which again could not but affect the consumer - at that time they wanted to smoke, and many began to. The turn of the 1940s - 1950s is called the "Golden Age" of the tobacco industry. Tobacco factories, like mushrooms after rain, begin to appear one after another, and regular consumers who regularly purchase tobacco products only support manufacturers.

4 That is a good point Dana. Like Obama as Senator. Hide and nobody will have anything to use against you.

5 Of course, if -- God forbid -- that the donkeys win in 2024, Little Petey may become part of the permanent bureaucracy, which means he'll never have to work a day in his life again (that's the kind of gig he's got now and I suspect he's likin' it just fine) nor ever stand for reelection again.

6 Probably true Dana. He's the kind of guy who would like that.
