If that is the case why did crime accelerate during the eighties? We did have a drop after we cracked down on crime, but abortion didn't seem to enter into it. If you look at violent crime rates, they started decreasing among those who were born prior to Roe v. Wade, btw; NOT among the young, which is what you would expect if abortion was what reduced crime.
Perhaps Fakenomics would be a more apt title for it.
