I agree. They need to be able to claim they were attacked and only responded - and it's then all Trump's fault if his supporters respond. They want to be able to have another Charlottesville to claim the Klan is rising again.

Nope, but he was stupid about it. And it still helped the liberal cause because some black people DID believe it, which was what was intended from the beginning.
