You make a good point, Tim. As conservatives, and Christians, we will not wish the man ill. Unlike the venom that proceeded from the liberals when Ronald Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's -- you could not have found worse hate spewed about Hitler, or Stalin (in fact, today they like both of those guys).
