Writing in American Thinker J.R. Dunn looks at the preposterous nature of the polls and how they cheat to steal elections.
I've long made this same, self-evident argument but it bears repeating. Dunn quotes a new study showing how the polls are way out there in the summer months, only to tighten near the end to not lose their credibility.
Dunn rightly argues this is to depress Republicans, who watch these polls with despair. And while he doesn't make this argument I do; it's to create a bandwagon for those who haven't yet chosen a side. All the cool kids are doing it!
The polls were and remain a tool for the Left to manipulate the voters. They have no intention of actually reflecting public opinion.
My wife worked as a pollster and when she took the job she thought it was to get an accurate survey. She was quickly disabused of that notion.
In fact, she was supposed to encourage voting and she had a call at 6:59 on election night and her boss jumped in "we can get you to the polls" and he dispatched a driver. That seven O'clock closing time didn't matter!
The point is they were all Democrats at her place of employment and their job was not about finding out what people thought but in converting them or encouraging them to get out and pull that lever for the D.
And so many, especially the intellectual wing of the GOP, falls for it every time, like Charlie Brown and that football.
Polls are lies - always remember that. They are there to dispirit you and to manipulate you. Remember you are not alone and not going to lose.
1"The polls were and remain a tool for the Left to manipulate the voters." A statement on the sorry quality of the American voter, in that they will not vote for the best candidate, but rather for the one they think will win. Just another proof that democracy does not usually work. It depends on intelligent and informed voters, and ours are neither.
