Even Politico sees the Ukrainian invasion as a welcome distraction from the Biden failed agenda.
Of course they don't admit Biden is trying to drag this thing out - or that it was Biden's policies that enabled Putin to do this in the first place.
[...]
For once, it’s not banned books or transgender athletes nonstop on Americans’ TVs, but foreign affairs and rising gas prices. In the past week, Biden’spublic approval ratings have ticked up, and the generic ballot has improved slightly for Democrats. Democratic governors are proposing gas price relief, while the party’s campaign arms are pummeling Republicans on taxes and health care costs.
And of course Politico blames Republicans for all of this - and accuses them of only caring about the culture war and not about the people the Administration has injured.
The fact is, the Junta is purposely trying to drag this thing out because they see the political benefit. This is Mr. Biden's war as much as it is Mr. Putins.

What would Putin and Biden have to discuss?
I can hear it now"
Biden "Stop the war".
Putin "No".
Biden "Stop the war".
Puting "Make me".
Biden "Please!"
Putin "No."
Biden "Pretty Please,"
Putin "No."
End call.
