I thought Global Warming was going to make polar bears extinct!
50 Years After Hunting Ban Polar Bears are Thriving
I made this case a while back; polar bears were everywhere, wandering into villages and towns in Siberia and elsewhere, and I argued at the time it was because they were overbreeding, not "starving and desperate" as the media and the scientific establishment was trying to claim.
In fact there are too bloody many of the vicious things about. Polar bears are the meanest, orneriest form of bear, a species not known for warm fuzzies except as children's toys.
So now we know the whole "disappearing" claim was yet another lie told us by the Gang Green.

Bu-bu-but the Algore told me personally (or almost personally) that polar bears were gonna go extinct in a few years, fer sherr! I'm sure he did. I remember him talking to a bunch of us about it. Weren't you there too, Tim? He made a big point about it. Yeah, we were all there. You, me, Jack, and I think Mike and Bill were there too.

Yeah, now I remember that night. In fact, all of us went to a bar in a different building because their prices were lower, and Algore wasn't there at all; it was the bartender talking to us about the booze choices. IIRC, we all got wasted that night, which means we spent the night better off than going to hear Fat-Ass, even though the hangovers the next day were formidable.
