Pittsburgh, the Second Amendment, and the Exodus from Egypt

Howard Sachs has written an excellent blog piece concerning the shootings in Pittsburgh where he equates the leftist Jews who still want more gun control to those Jews who left Egypt with Moses and then wanted to return ot the security of being slaves back in Egypt. He also urged his fellow Jews (and Christians) to learn how to shoot guns and protect their places neighborhoods and places of worship. See here.

To this, I added a comment where I mentioned my writing on these topics at American Thinker over a decade ago.

My Comment:

In 2006, I wrote a blog piece at Amer. Thinker criticizing The Jewish War Veterans for their joining an ACLU lawsuit against a metal cross in a Federal park in La Jolla, California. In that piece and in reply to Ethel Fenig's rebutal piece criticizing me, I pointed out that the Jewish War Veterans would be better off organizing a defence against the then recent armed attack on a synagogue by a Moslem in Seattle that wounded four. The title of the blog piece was "Proof that there are Stupid Jews" at this address.

One reader commented on either Fenig's rebutal piece critical of the cross in the park or my counter-rebutal piece by saying that we should be less concerned about Separation of Church and State than by Separation of Head and Neck. Some of you may have seen a poster online by the Jews for Preservation of Firearms Ownership. The poster says "All those in favor of gun control raise your right hand." The picture next to these words is of Adolph Hitler raising his hand in the Nazi Hitler salute.

It was high time for Jews to reconsider their allegience to a fantasy utopian Democratic Party worldview when I wrote in 2006 about this self-defeating leftish Jewish attitude in this country. It is also high time right now, especially after the delegates at the Democratic National Convention booed mention of Jerusalem and G-d. And, of course, after these Pittsburgh shootings.

1 I think the way things are now in America and the issues these Jew are facing these days, I donâ€™t blame him cable tv providers for making such a statement. People are indeed afraid of what is going on around them and the best way to protect themselves is having a gun.
