Kipling was a wise man, the product of many life experiences (not all of them pleasant). We could use a Kipling nowadays, especially now that Dr. Sowell has retired from writing and Walter Williams is dead.

Agreed on all points Dana! Kipling was a socialist in his early life but seems to have worked his way out of it as he matured, as so many do.
