The media and health department Bozos are still pushing the delta variant fear porn.
The delta variant is the Indian variant but they don't want to call it that because of political correctness. Fine. Over the last 14 days the death rate in India from/with Covid is 0.53 per million population per day. In the U.S. it has been 0.73 per million population. In other words, despite the abject poverty, limited available heathcare, and supposedly more deadly virus in India they are doing BETTER than the U.S. Bring on the delta!

My first real experience with curry was at the holiday party thrown by my boss (in NYC) and her husband (both Indian), and it was catered by their favorite local Indian restaurant. They warned the non-Indians to stay away from a few selections. Martha and I both loved it.
I have a story to tell about being the "taster" for some cafeteria curry, in company with a bunch of Indian IT guys. Too long to tell here, unfortunately, but I came out of it having gained a lot of respect.

I ordered some Pork Szechuan the other day from a local Chinese place and had to throw it away; fire was shooting out of my eyeballs. Each bite was like swallowing acid.
If it's like that no thank you. But a milder form would be nice for me, even if Cathy wouldn't touch it.
