Of Vaccines and Condoms

They tell us the Covid vaccine is only partially effective and does not stop you from shedding viruses and infecting others.
Reminds me of a joke. The Mother Superior in a convent called all the nuns together. She said "there was a man here last night. He was caught on the security camera." All of the nuns gasped while one quietly sniggered "hehehe". Mother S. "There were moans from one of the rooms" "haaah" gasped the nuns while one quietly sniggered "hehehe". "There was a condom" "haaah" "hehehe" "and there was a hole in it" to which the corus of nuns sniggered "hehehe" and the lone nun gasped "huuuh!" The moral of the story? If a hole in a condom is so terrible why is a vaccine that only sort of works a good idea?
