Sorry. The New York Times lost all credibility years ago. Not just now. This kind of drivel is like the stuff one finds in supermarket tabloids. If only the high mucky-mucks at the Slimes realized how it makes them look, they'd throw out the current editor (can't remember his name because frankly, dear Scarlett, I don't give a whatever) and cancel his pension.

Agreed Dana; certainly when they called Fidel Castro the "George Washington of Cuba" they lost it.
The Times is indeed little more than tabloid, but everyone still holds it as Gospel, the "paper of record".
