Nothing to Fear but Fear itself

This from David Nabhan

This political theater cum "pandemic” has unleashed the mindset of the least mentally grounded among us to force their same yoke of phobia, dread and dysfunction onto the necks of the rest of us. We're as deluded as they are now. Still, epidemics are episodes of pure terror impossible to misidentify. In 1829, for example, a cholera outbreak with 90% mortality swept through the Caucasus. Two thirds of Tblisi' s inhabitants fled, leaving Georgia's capital a ghost town. That’s a pandemic.

1 Amen! But the constant re-runs of the "Rocky Fauci Picture Show" don't seem to be having the desired effect; in fact, the opposite is starting to take over. We do, of course, need more state governments to rule against mandatory vaccination. It remains to see how this'll play out, but a huge number of citizens are getting sick and tired of all this theatre.

2 I think so too. But enough Americans have fallen for it hook-line-and sinker and this will keep on until everyone figures out they are being lied to.

BTW I just got the second jab yesterday and feel like crap today.

3 I understand lots of people had "issues" after the second shot. I just had a sore arm. But from here on in, Tim, be sure to keep track of (and catalog) any "funny things" going on in your body, anything out of the ordinary.  And report them to your doctor; they're supposed to be compiling all these things. I have a few things to tell mine, and that constipation isn't the only one.

4 I've felt like I'm coming down with the flu, but only just coming down with it. I hope it doesn't get any worse. Nothing else to report though. Let's hope it stays that way!

5 I hope you're not! Jack's asking for prayers for his "well-being," with no explanation. Martha's in a blue funk half of the time. It's everything we hear in the news and feeling helpless to do anything about it.

6 Well Jack has my prayers certainly. I'll say some "Hail Mary" prayers since you've got the Protestants covered and of course Jack has the Jewish approach. Together hopefully Jack will be well-cared for!

Yeah; it's pretty depressing and if Martha has the blue funk it's hardly a surprise. Tell her I'll pray for her too!
