No Longer Good, No Longer Great

"America is great because America is good. If America ever ceases to be great, America will cease to be good."
This saying is often attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville, but there is no evidence he ever spoke or written these words. Still, this saying has endured and has been quoted by many, including past presidents.
It endures because the words are true.
But what is meant by the words, 'America is good'?
Good here means exceptional, IMO. It is the same as saying America is exceptional. Okay, so why are we exceptional?
Exceptional means to stand out and apart. It is not the norm but the exception. And indeed, we are exceptional. The only exceptional nation that ever was or ever will be.
The leftists, like Obama, have no clue what it means...or at least... Pretend they don't. Obama said that other nations believe themselves to he exceptional as well. More moral relavence from your useful idiot leftists.
We are exceptional and unique because of one key thing... Our foundational belief that God exists. That is why we are exceptional. That belief, that He exists and He has given us certain inalienable rights we can infer from Natural Law, has institutionaliz

ed in our Republic the respect for the dignity and rights of the individual.
That belief made us as a people, good. Christianity permeated from every corner of American life and in most American households. An imperfect and flawed people understood the critical significance of faith as essential to freedom and liberty.
That belief made us great. So, America WAS great because America WAS good.
Then came the communists, marching into our institutions like an army from hell. Target number One... Christianity.
To bring down a government of by and for the people in which was enshrined the rights of the individual because of our belief in God, God Himself would have to be removed.
For the most part, He has been. America has ceased to be great because America has ceased to be good. Without God, there can be no goodness.
When we say Make America Great Again, the same vile armies of the Left, tells us that means to make America White again...to bring us back to Jim Crow and the racism of the past. More lies from the Father of Lies.
It means to restore our founding faith, our founding principles, and our founding beliefs. It means to restore God back to His rightful place... As the author of our rights and the true giver of our liberty.
It means to honor His Natural laws, such as...
- Marriage is a sacred institution between one man and one woman.
- Abortion is the immoral taking of an individual and unique life.
- God created two genders... Male and female, He created us.
These moral ideas come from the Almighty, not from man.
As Trump often said, we don't worship government. We worship God. That is what made us good and great.
But how the mighty have fallen. We, in our arrogance and extreme selfishness, made the mistake many others have...that we can do it without God and better than God.
We have eaten from the forbidden fruit, and we are paying the price.

Yes. America was settled by people seeking to practice their religion as they saw fit. It was a "bible thumping" society. It was this deep conviction, this love of God, that makes America "good". We adhered to a strong moral code and took what the Bible said seriously. That goodness made us exceptional, and that made us both wealthy and powerful. But the wealth and power motivated many to believe we didn't need the "superstitions"
