We are told by a multitude of Democrats that the US elections currently are being corrupted by the Russians. We are told by NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, NPR and w whole host of media that the US elections are currently being meddled with by the Russians.

They want it both ways. Mail in elections are safe, but just in case they lose, the Russians did it. Do we actually buy that premise?

2 I'll tell ya, guys: on Election Day, when my wife and I go to vote at our usual polling place, I'll keep an eye out for anybody who looks (or acts) Russian, and I'll let you know about it. I'll be able to spot one by the vodka bottle in his pocket or her purse, for one thing. Maybe I'll carry a bottle of vodka just to throw him/her off the scent, gain their trust. I'll get some cheap vodka with a Russian name on it -- Smirnoff or Karkhov or something like that -- I won't waste my wonderful 45th Parallel stuff that I buy right from the distillery in Wisconsin.

3 Amen Bill. You can't have it both ways. Orwell called that Doublethink and it was a tool of the ruling Junta. Sadly most Americans don't see the contradiction; they are too busy playing on their I-phones and worrying about wearing masks.

4 Glad you like my idea, Tim. I'll make sure to not have sampled any of the stuff prior to heading to the polls. And I'll also be looking for Boris Badunoff-and-Natasha types when I get there -- hey, you never know. Although I'd expect them to show up later, and we normally go pretty early.

Wonder what Bill's going to do to fight off the furriners?

5 Especially being on the West Coast and all, Bill may encounter a lot of 'em. The Rooskies will be out in force in the Golden State.

Here in the Missouri we mostly worry about Redneck moonshiner types, who of course are all for stealing the election for Trump since, well, we all know Trump only appeals to toothless hicks.
