No, Antarctica is NOT Hotter Than Salt Lake City

Timothy Birdnow

It was colder in Salt Lake City than in Antarctica on Tuesday morning

That global warming sure is a mother! Of course it's summer in Antarctica now.

And what do we mean by "Antarctica"? The Peninsula? Queen Maud's Land? The South Pole?

The high temperature at the South Pole yesterday was -23* F.

And if it what does that prove? How is it "global warming" when the winter low in the northern hemisphere is lower than a toasty summer day in the Antarctic? Shouldn't BOTH places be hot?
