California Governor Gavin "Nuisance" Newsom is threatening to rig th elections in the Golden State if it looks like Republicans will shut them out in the upcoming elections for Governor.

Gov. Gavin Newsom said he has a secret "break the glass” plan to prevent California from electing a Republican governor — though he’s stubbornly refused to make an endorsement in the race to succeed him.

There is talk in the legislature too to change the election scheme back to the pre-2010 system where there are separate primaries and the winners go head to head. They changed the system to make it easier for Democrats to win and hold power.

Instead of offering good public policy that benefits everyone the Democrats first instinct is to rig the game. This is especially true in California where they have been rigging it for so long they've forgotten how to play it fairly.

Gavin Newsom always reminds me of Zoltan Karparthy, the Hungarian aristocrat from My Fair Lady:
