He is Mike Johnson, Rep. from Shreveport, Louisiana.
He's fairly conservative from what I know of him, and supported President Trump. Much better than the last Speaker of even the last nominee.

Well, we'll see. I still have a preference for Newt Gingrich, but that makes me a bit of an old fogey, I guess.
And this new guy is from Louisiana, whence comes the wonderful Senator John Kennedy, my personal favorite. Let's see if he might be similar.

Everything i've heave about him has been pretty good, but he was a dark horse and I reserve judgment. I agree; Kennedy is good and heopefully this guy will be too. But Louisiana also has an old tradition of corruption and liberalism.
Hopefully this guy won't be Republican Huey Long - or Ray Naggin.
