Yes, that same Jack Smith - illegally appointed prosecutor to investigate just about anything related to President Trump, was caught red-handed bypassing the "filter team" whose job it is to redact or hold Congressional e-mails and then telling Congress they did not see the content on any lawmaker's e-mails. Without going through the filter team they saw the content.

Jack the Slipper lied in testimony before Congress, saying in a direct answer to the question tht he had seen no e-mails from Congressmen.

The Constitution says no lawmaker may be prosecuted for any speech they may make in pursuant to their duties.This has been interpreted by statute to mean not just physical speaking but correspondence and communications, which are to remain privileged.

Smith accessed the private e-mails of 44 political enemies of the Biden Administration.

Lying to Congress is punishable by up to five years in prison. That's the least amount of time Mr. Smith should serve.

The Smith-led Arctic Frost investigation involved over 400 Republicans including some Conservatives in journalism (Sean Hannity was one) and Smith dragged them through the mud as much as he was able.

Smith was appointed Special Counsel by Merrick Garland WITHOUT a formal Biden nomination nor a Senate confirmation. Both were required by law. Garland argued that the Constitution allows the appointments of assistants to prosecutors and claims that is what he was doing, but as former Attorney General Edwin Meese pointed out Garland couldn't put Smith over career prosecutors who were in place and so his appointment was the equivalent of appointing Jeff Bezos or Taylor Swift - there was no legal validity to his position. Sadly Congress didn't force him to go through a confirmation as they should have.

And now it appears he lied to Congress in the process. So an illegally appointed political hatchet man ran a with hunt on political enemies of the ruling regime and then when asked to justify what he did he lied to Congress - appoint spying on Congress.

They need to get this guy, and do it now while the getting is good. Play around with this too long and he'll wriggle off the hook like so many before him.

Smith was a prime example of the most abusive power grabs of the Biden Administration and if he goes unpunished this sort of thing will happen again and again.
