I hate to tell the Mexicans but the Colorado river runs through the U.S. before it reaches Mexico. Be a shame if anything should happen to all that water the Mexicans depend on so much...

This is caused by a lack of sewage treatment facilities and poverty. TJ has no money to build more facilities, while more and more people pour in to await admission into the US. It's been going on for something like fifty years, but now that Trump is president, the media wants to scream about how it is Trump's fault. It wasn't Biden's fault, or Obama's fault, or even Bush's fault, but now it's Trump's fault.

And... The Colorado doesn't reach Mexico any more. Due to overuse of its water in the US, it dries up just short of the Mexican border.

Update. I discovered today that the Colorado has gained some ground. It still doesn't reach the Gulf, but it does cross the border. Only by a few miles and not in any usable way, but it does get to Mexico.
