McConnell Wants February Impeachment Trial

Rampaging RINO Mitch McConnell (who has been in Must ever since he married his China doll Elaine Chou) is proposing a Senate trial for Donald Trump's impeachment in February.

This would give impeachment managers and Mr. Trump’s defense at least a week to prepare. McConnell floated the proposal to GOP senators on a caucus conference call Thursday. It’s not yet clear what date in February McConnell is proposing. He had already said he would not take up a trial immediately after the House impeached Mr. Trump, and Democrats now control the Senate. […]The House has yet to send the singlearticle of impeachment for incitement of insurrectionto the Senate.

The report comes after McConnell accused Trump of stoking the recent riot at the U.S. Capitol, in which five people died, including a police officer. "The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people, and they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding … which they did not like,” McConnell said in a Senate floor speech. "But we pressed on. We stood together and said an angry mob would not get veto power over the rule of law in our nation.”

McConnell has said that he has not decided on how he will vote in the upcoming trial, though some reports indicate that he may have trouble holding on to his long-held leadership post if he opts to convict former President Trump.

Now Trump gave McConnell's wife the job of Transportation Secretary, largely to buy good will from the duplicitous double chinned dork. Fat lot of good it did; McConnell has always been an opponent of the President. He failed to even attempt to move any of Trump's agenda forward. He often kept the Senate in session while allowing Senators to go home so Trump could not make any recess appointments, keeping the President's administration understaffed at all times. He never backed the President when it was needed.

And it was McConnell who cost the Republicans the Senate seat in Alabama. McConnell helped promote Roy Moore early on as a way to split the conservative vote; he favored RINO Luther Strange over Mo Brooks, and helped Moore so as to eliminate Brooks. When Moore won I suspect it was McConnell who helped turn up those girls to accuse Moore (who had been a major player in Alabama for decades) and McConnell said he wouldn't seat Moore if he won. The end result was a lost Senate seat.

McConnell had done this before against Tea Party candidate Chris McDaniel in Mississippi, I might add.

And now McConnell thinks he can get back at Trump for his breach of etiquette in bypassing the GOP mandarins. And he figures he needs to show he is still on board with the Swamp.

And likely China wants this done. McConnell is up to his double chins in Yuan.

It's past time we take Mr. McConnell out of Washington and into early retirement. Maybe some time spent back in Kentucky will give him some perspective. Frankly, I'm for sending him to Baffin Island for some solitude, or if he prefers company he can go to the Federal penitentiary at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.

He's a snake. It's past time we rid America of this dirtbag.



Frankly, I suspect McConnell was involved in the recent hanky panky in the elections; the GOP didn't really lose anything (except control of the Senate but that was a likely outcome as the GOP was defending twice as many seats). I think McConnell was working with the Democrats to stick it to the President.
