Timothy Birdnow

Mitch McConnell is bitterly opposing a plan to impose  term limits on his successor as GOP Senate leader.

Now why do  you suppose that is?

Because McConnell wants his buddies in power, the RINO wing, and once in it  becomes nigh unto impossible to unseat these guys. McConnell's tenure of office - the longest in history, is proof of that. Nobody loves McConnell but they just couldn't get him out.

Mitch wants his tenure of office to be eternal, just with a different face.
