The ex-squeeker of the Mouse, er, House was too wimpy to even kick Nancy Pelosi out of HIS office in the Capitol. The Provisional Speaker McHenry had to do it after Big Mc Attack was shown the door.

This illustrates plainly what a wimpy little beta-male Kevin McCarthy was; that was HIS office, not hers. He let her keep it, thus fostering the sense that she was still in power. It was a psychological ploy by Pelosi and the weakling McCarthy went right along with it.

In Washington the Democrats own the town; the Republicans are guests. All of the social life, all of the parties and balls and banquets, are run by the Democrats and the GOP is only invited if they make nice. These guys are human; they want to be liked and enjoy their jobs and their lives. So they cave to the pressure and then get to be the Big Men, being seen at the social gatherings and treated with respect. But they don't do anything of value, just rubber stamp the Democrats' agenda.

The culture of Washington is toxic and evil.

So here we had Kevin McCarthy essentially acknowledging Pelosi's Divine Right of Queens.

I'm sure the eight Republicans who voted to kick the Mc out knew this as well as probably a lot of other stuff about what was happening. We will probably be learning a lot more about the Squeeker in days to come.

McCarthy had gone native.

It is rumored McCarthy was frequently going to her to get advice.

The GOP is nothing but the party of surrender. And for what? So they can enjoy their stay in the swamp.
