Liz Chaney is in trouble in Wyoming.
As Liz Chaney Files for Reelection Poll from Rival Group Shows Her Trailing Badly
Her own state's Republican Party threw her out. She is still recognized by the national party, and she caucuses with them (I assume) but she's not a Republican as far as Wyoming is concerned.
Her actions were designed to play into the hands of the Democrats and she ahd to know that (growing up in politics as she did). Even if she despises Trump he was the President and from her own party. Also, she should understand that attacking Trump does not translate into votes for Republicans. Many sitting Republicans may face not being re-elected solely based on her behavior. She has to understand that, which makes her a traitor. The British never accepted Benedict Arnold after he sold out Washington and for good reason. She has done much the same. A snake in the grass.
