The Left is unjustly attacking Israel for passing a law today that finally limits Israel's supreme court.

The mistake people make is in assuming that Israel is structured like the United States. It's not.

In a proper constitutional republic (as the USA was designed to be), the constitution limits ALL branches of government. No branch can exceed the authority granted by the constitution.

Israel has no constitution, so in Israel, the voters (represented by the Knesset) must hold the whip hand. SOMEBODY has to. Otherwise, whichever body has the most dictatorial inclination will take control (remember, "nature abhors a vacuum.")

Irael's supreme court has been acting as an authoritarian body for years. It NEEDED to be limited.

Congratulations to the Knesset for standing up to the woke mob and taking the action that Israel needed.
