Liberty is far too dangerous to the People at large to be self-administer

ed, at least that is the view most of our politicians take. So, instead of liberty as liberty, freedom as freedom, it is carefully manicured, managed and manipulated by those who feel it is not only their duty, but also their calling in life. The government has assumed the administration of liberty and freedom to ensure that it is doled out appropriately.

Politicians think that they have a great store of knowledge, many want to ensure that the wealth of this nation is equalized, at least in the eyes of government management, redistributed in a manner far more equitable than through natural free market forces. These master planners, these official administrators have been around for a long, long time and were even present at the Constitutional Convention. They seek a type of central control over the country that will provide an ease of administration, a perfect balance of power of centralized planning on all levels of society, a utopia administration that grants its subjects their quota of liberty and freedom for the good of the whole, or course.

Of course, power, unleashed and uncontested, is necessary for such centralized planning to be effective and such power is nothing less that massive intervention into the lives of the People themselves. Controls on a multitude of levels are implemented and the restraints on government by the Constitution must, of course, be effectively neutralized while giving lip service to Constitutional order.

The primary instrument of control is always economic for it allows the government inroads into every area of the lives of the People. For such a plan to work, the country's money must be transformed from actual property, belonging to the people in exchange for their labor, to an official government document issued, managed, and tracked, thus effectively under the control of those professional administrators. Without such monetary control, the government has absolutely no hope in extending its control over the People; once the People's money is neutralized and transformed, the administrators have free reign over all the other areas of life in a country.

Through such techniques, the government becomes the effective official purveyor of the People's liberty and freedom. The government now interprets the People's Rights, not by the People's consent, but by edict, decree and judicial opinion. The sphere of the government's reach is expanded while the individual's liberty, freedom and rights are curtailed, all for the betterment of society, of course. It appears that the trade-off has been generally accepted by the People, unknown to them the demise of what it means to be an American. While they may not have been aware such a trade-off was happening, they seem to be relatively satisfied with the results. Americans have traded the ability to be completely responsible for their lives, their finances, their futures into the hands of those elected and hired to provide leadership and administration for the country.

Of course, the construction of such an administered society was decades in the making and required numerous interventions, wars and economic crisis to implement, but with each event, the People clamored for action from those chosen political saviors. The People, conditioned by such events surrendered the control of their government to professional managers, as Voltaire said: "shackles upon sleeping men.”

People have traded their liberty and freedom for the solace of administered security, with each crisis event, the government assumed more authority, more power and far more intervention into the lives of the People. With each event, the People assumed habits of dependence upon the government; it is now to the point that many cannot imagine a world where the government didn't have such powers or authority. On whole, the People have become acceptingly compliant with the perspective that the government has a central role in their lives and their future. Over time, the People relinquished their citizenship responsibility over government to become the responsibility of government. It was, apparently, an easy trade to make.

The first major push by the government was during the Lincoln administration, which defies every principle upon which this country was founded to impress itself over the consent of the People themselves. The centralization of our system of federalism began under the watch of Lincoln, but was later enforced by the Radical Republicans as they sought to nationalize all government functions, incorporating the retained powers and authorities of the several States into the nationalized central government. It was the vision of Hamilton realized and by the time of the election of James Garfield, those advocates of nationalization and central planning thought effectively exterminated the ideals of Jefferson.

Mr. Garfield himself stated: "The influence of Jefferson's Democratic principles is rapidly waning, while the principles of Hamilton are rapidly increasing. Power has been gravitating toward the Central Government.”

A newspaper at the time stated: "”Garfield's rule will be the transitory period between State Sovereignty and National Sovereignty. The United States Senate will give way to a National Senate. State Constitutions and the United States Senate are relics of State Sovereignty and implements of treason. Garfield's Presidency will be the Regency of Stalwartism; after that-REX.”

Indeed, their goal was REX, a highly centralized oligarchy, it perfectly described what they intended to create in this country. Their goal was, and still is, a very nationalistic Central Government empowered to dominate both political and social structure within this country. A multi-geared machine of body politic that would maintain their own version of government under the carefully maintained guise of a Constitutional Republic without the restraints of a Republic. The whole purpose of such a guise is solely for the comfort of the People, to serve as a salve of patriotic symbolism, all the while the goal is to continue with the centralization of government powers.

With the nationalization of government the differences between the Republican and Democratic parties gradually began to disappear under the weight of centralization and the lust for power that always accompanies it; it became the focus of the political process replacing the consent of the People with the requirements of the government. By the time of the Wilson Administration, the process was almost complete with the push of interventionism and the focus of Washington, D.C. as the focus of the political universe.

The policies of Wilson helped set the stage the next push for centralization during the 30s and 40s with FDR's New Deal designers who provided very specific solutions to problems that were almost exactly what was required for the next step in the nationalization of the country. It was a time of crisis, an economic crisis specifically created by centralized economic planning and monetary policy of the Federal Reserve during the 1920s. It was almost a dream come true for those grand nationalistic designers, indeed they could not have planned it better for they found the country falling on its knees in economic distress. Such a state of economic panic and confusion provided the perfect setting for a government rescue.

FDR repudiated the obligations of the U.S. government to pay its debt, reneged on the payment of Liberty Bonds defying the full faith promises of the government to the People. FDR then went further by confiscating as much of the People's gold as possible, debased the currency over 50% and in the process drained away all those nasty little hoards of savings that were hidden away. The quickest way to gain the necessary power in such a capitalistic system was to gain total control over the money itself. It then began the long and at times arduous process of deficit spending, the monetization of debt and the centralized doctrine of economic planning.

On top of it all, FDR implemented a system of grants for the redistribution of wealth, class subsidies all of which were calculated to basically reduce this country and its citizens to a subservient position to the central government. It was also intended to bring down the sovereign status of the States to that of provincial territories under the federal umbrella. It became an executive principle, providing the federal government with extensive powers outside the purview of Constitutional order by allowing for the execution of law by the act of bureaucratic decree by publishing rules, acts and regulations, having the color of law, without the need of Congressional legislation. Indeed, today Congress actually writes little that it actually legislates; the vast majority of law is issued by decree with entry into The Federal Register. This move began the relinquishment of the power over both the purse strings and the ability to declare war, placing more and more of that combination of power within the hands of the Executive.

Of course, the People, in economic distress, bought into the system completely and hailed FDR as the "nation's hero” because he had offered immediate relief and the promise of life-long economic security, but they were unaware of just what they had really surrendered during that fateful period in our history. They had traded their freedom for benefits, entitlements and supposed economic security. The massive Welfare/ warfare State was almost complete and it was hailed by most, as a miracle the problem was that few read the fine print.

At the time, the overall popularity of the Social Security system was impressive and the compulsory nature of the system insured compliance by both the People and their employers; it effectively took the ability and the freedom of private contract out of the hands of the People and those who employed them, placing it in the hands of bureaucrats and administrators. Social Security was, and is, synergistic with the fiat monetary system; they work hand in hand to effectively drain wealth from the People and the country. The professional administrators offered the tempting fruit of security in one hand while slipping a canker worm called inflation into the system with the other. The only security offered by the system is to maintain government power by increasing its ability to create massive credit for its unrestrained, unquenchable hunger for expansive growth.

The revolutionaries gained control over the money, the banking institutions and the issuance of credit. It was the beginning of the end for real money, the Dollar had long been honored as the secure monetary unit but it was to be gradually transformed into an unredeemable scrap of worthless paper.

There are times when we must look beyond the smoke screens, the political labels, and the propaganda and view the reality behind the distractions. Fabian Socialism, like Fascism, promotes The State as the central force in the lives of each and every individual within society.

In this country in particular, since the advent of FDR's New Deal, which was not only lauded by Fabian Socialist like H.G. Wells, but also heavily influenced by the Fabians, we have seen the drastic increase of the Centralized State. The expansion of bureaucracy under the New Deal exposed this country to the ideals of Fabian Socialism in a way that it would not have otherwise been able to accomplish without the New Deal. It was as though the Great Depression was made to order. It was, in every sense of the word, revolutionary and foreign in concept to the traditional American foundations of government. Timing was everything, the right combination of trouble and distress were necessary to complete this revolutionary coup d'etat. It was a sequential revolution, each step planned in detail to achieve the most consistent results. It was a well-ordered revolution that provided solutions to the problems that the revolutionaries caused themselves with their monetary policies and foreign intrigues. The problem with such solutions is that once one has been achieved it must be followed by yet another and another, each solving the problem caused by the last solution provided. It was to be America's first real taste of Marxist/ Leninist doctrine and they didn't even realize it, they still don't for that matter: FDR stated, in regards to his grand Fabian revolution: "It is to the eternal credit of the American People that this tremendous readjustment to our national life is being accomplished peacefully.”

While we rarely consider the facts, FDR was pretty clear about his intentions for a very broad restructuring of our form of government and the economy used to support it when he said: "Strictly speaking, the banking crisis lasted only one week. But the full meaning of that word emergency related to far more than banks; it covered the whole economy and therefore the whole social structure of the country. It was an emergency that went to the roots of our agriculture, our commerce, our industry. It could only be cured by a complete reorganization and measured control of the economic structure. It called for a long series of new laws, new administrative agencies. It required separate measures affecting different subjects; but all of them component parts of a fairly definite broad plan.”

That definite broad plan began with the closure of all banks in the country by Executive decree. In that same decree, it was forbidden, under threat of imprisonment, any dealings in the transfer of credit or foreign exchange. This was, of course, a necessary measure to keep those with the wherewithal to escape the country with their fortunes. Perhaps the most alarming step was the March 4th Act of the President and Secretary of the Treasury which was completely written by the White House and, without much dissent, passed Congress and essentially allowed the Executive a free hand in all matters relating to the emergency. It was the ultimate rubber stamp for the Executive.

It authorized sweeping powers even to the point that the government could use public funds in private banks, thus essentially nationalizing the capital stock of those banks. It was also essential for such a revolution to confiscate as much private gold as possible, for without such confiscation there would remain a challenge to the monetary plans implemented to ensure complete government control over the country and its People. The economist Benjamin Anderson said: "Gold needs no endorsement. It can be tested with scales and with acids. No act of faith is called for when gold is used in payments, and no compulsion is required. Gold is an unimaginative taskmaster. It demands that men and governments and central banks be honest. It demands that they keep their promises on demand or at maturity. Gold was old-fashioned and it was honest.”

Of course, for such a ruse to succeed, the People were lead to believe that eventually the ban on individual ownership of gold would be lifted, but nothing was ever told the American People that a massive debasement of the American Dollar would be instituted or that the gold redeemable Dollar was to be a thing of the past. Gold was such an obstruction to the plans of FDR that it was imperative that it be eliminated. In a the bill called the Agricultural Adjustment Act set before Congress there was also an insidious amendment attached called the Thomas Amendment, also known as the Inflation Amendment for it allowed the President to inflate the money supply, at his sole discretion, by 3 Billion Dollars without any backing whatsoever, and to simultaneously devalue gold by half. It was an effective legislative instrument and few dare challenge its legitimacy by calling it was it really was and that was outright theft.

In 1934, FDR proposed the Gold Reserve Act; this Act stated that the U.S. Treasury would seize all gold held by all banks. The banks would then receive mere receipts for the gold that was confiscated and FDR began the first in several devaluations of gold for foreign exchange. Basically, the government repudiated all obligations of the U.S. government that were previously made for the redemption of gold. Everything that involved gold was declared void by the government, even private contracts, and corporate bonds. Additionally, the government now had sole discretion over the manner in which private banks could lend and the types of collateral that were acceptable risk. This, of course, was not acceptable to anyone in the lending business and for a while they resisted by drying up credit but under the new Federal Reconstruction Finance Corporation, they simply fell into the trap laid for them by the Fabians traitors. Instead, the government became the lender of choice giving loans to farmers, individuals, railroads, businesses, industry, and banks and even to foreign borrowers. Private debt was effectively converted to public debt and the game began in earnest.

Murray Rothbard correctly said: "Before 1933, there was an important shackle upon the Fed's ability to inflate and expand the money supply: Federal Reserve Notes themselves were payable in the equivalent weight of gold. …The government cannot create new gold at will. But Federal Reserve Notes can be issued at will, at virtually zero cost in resources. In 1933, the United States government removed the gold restraint on its inflationary potential by shifting to fiat money: to making the paper dollar itself the standard of money, with the government the monopoly supplier of dollars.”

Of course, there were a few who realized what was happening. Julius Smith of the American Bar Association realized it and said: "Is there any labor leader, any businessman, any lawyer or any other citizen of America so blind that he cannot see that this country is drifting at an accelerated pace into administrative absolutism similar to that which prevailed in the governments of antiquity, the governments of the Middle Ages, and in the great totalitarian governments of today? Make no mistake about it. Even as Mussolini and Hitler rose to absolute power under the forms of law. So may administrative absolutism be fastened upon this country within the Constitution and within forms of law.” Indeed, under the color of law, with all proprieties in order the country was surrendered without a shot fired for why should the American People not trust their government?

As in just about every case, the greatest expansion of Fabian Socialism is through, and under the guise of Anti-Socialist Nations, such as the United States. Unlike the Communist, Stalinist or Maoists, the Fabian Socialist never use a frontal attack against a free people; it is always under the cover of free institutions and the machine of a free economy.

If we think that because a system appears to be Capitalistic that it has never been used to the benefit of the Fabians then we are severely mistaken. In order to undermine the total system of free enterprise the Fabians use it to the best of their ability to achieve the goals their Socialistic agenda. They have continually moved in the same direction, using the methods of capitalism as means to subvert and ultimately convert that system into Socialist Serfdom.

In terms of the Federal Reserve, the primary purpose of the system is to gradually transfer wealth, no not to transfer it from the haves to the have-nots, but to transfer it to a ruling class who can direct and dictate the manner of life for each individual in this country and eventually globally through its sister institutions of the IMF and the World Bank (originally the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development).

President Truman later appointed Harry Dexter White, an avowed Communist Party Member, as the U.S. Director for the IMF in 1946 after he served as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury under Henry Morgenthau and engineered the "Morgenthau Plan” for the defeated Germany. The Morgenthau Plan proved to be a major victory for the Soviets. Dexter, along with Keynes played decisive roles in the development of the Bretton Woods agreement and thus implemented the IMF, World Bank and a stand-alone fiat currency. All of which follow the same pattern of Fabian Socialist construct.

The history of the IMF should provide enough evidence that there has been collusion between the Keynesian-Fabia ns, international Finance, and Internationalis m. The IMF is a highly specialized agency that operates contrary, not only to morality, but also to the ideals of Individual Liberty and Freedom.

Although Keynes is widely regarded as a capitalist economist, there is nothing about the ideals of Keynes that support that view, indeed the evidence is quiet the contrary. Keynes work called the General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money is nothing if not a brilliant work of Fabian political tactic used to advance the cause of Socialism under the guise of saving a seemingly failing capitalist system. That was the opinion of the former Professor of Economics at Harvard, Dr. Joseph A. Schumpeter.

Professor Arthur Smithies, later to hold the Chair of the Harvard Economics Department, supported the ideology of Keynes and clearly stated that: "Shumpeter did not credit Keynes with a single major improvement in the technique of economic analysis. His admiration was confined to the skill with which Keynes constructed a vehicle to convey his ideology (Fabianism)-an ideology that, in Schumpeter's view, rivals Marx in undermining the pillars of capitalism”

Another well-known Fabian Socialist, very familiar with John Maynard Keynes, Mr. John Stachey believed that Keynesian economic theories promoted the Socialist Revolution. In his book "Program for Progress” he wrote that the Keynesian theory of inflationary credit expansion (used in the Federal Reserve System, as well as the IMF and World Bank) were: "an indispensable step in the right direction.” Giving his reasons for this view, Strachey said: "the fact that the loss of objectivity, and the intrinsic value of the currency which is involved (i.e., inflation) will sooner or later make necessary, on pain of ever-increasing dislocation, a growing degree of social control . . . for the partial character of the policy will itself lead on to further measures. The very fact that no stability, no permanently workable solution can be found within the limits of this policy will ensure that once a community has been driven by events to tackle its problems in. this way, it cannot halt at the first stage, but must of necessity push on to more thorough going measures of re-organization .” The re-organization of which he speaks is nothing less that the implementation of the Fabian Socialist Construct.

Now there is also a strange mixture of Fabian and Fascist ideology, in fact the totalitarian philosophy which under girds Keynesian theories made it completely acceptable not only to Socialists, but also to the Fascist and the Nazis.

James Stacy Barnes in his book "Universal Aspects of Fascism (1929) he states that "Fascism entirely agrees with Mr. Maynard Keynes, despite the latter's prominent position as a Liberal. In fact, Mr. Keynes' excellent little book, "The End of Laissez-Faire” might, so far as it goes, serve as a useful introduction to Fascist economics, There is scarcely anything to object to in it and there is much to applaud”.

Mussolini preached the very same thing as the Fabian Socialist: "We were the first to assert that the more complicated the forms of civilization, the more restricted the freedom of the individual must become.”

Hitler himself welcomed the ideology of Keynes, as did Mussolini. In fact, Hitler was the keynote speaker at the 1942 Fabian International Bureau's Conference and made the comment that "there is not much difference between the basic economic techniques of Socialism and Nazism.”

This follows directly with the Fabian ideal of an Elite class of managers, administrators, specialists and bureaucrats to take the reigns of Centralized Government: The State. It is a Welfare State where the government controls, regulates and dictates social norm, patterns of behavior, and the labor and livelihood of each individual under a system of Peonage.

It is not a foreign concept for the Fabians to use any label, policy, any political party or economic system to advance their agenda and ideology. In fact George Bernard Shaw was extremely frank when describing their policy: Our propaganda is one of permeating – we urged our members to join the Liberal and Radical Associations in their district, or, if they preferred it, the Conservative Associations – we permeated the party organizations and pulled all the strings we could lay our hands on with the utmost adroitness and energy, and we succeeded so well that in 1888 we gained the solid advantage of a Progressive majority full of ideas that would never have come into their heads had not the Fabians put them there.”

It is not difficult to see that whether it be Democrat or Republican, Liberal or Conservative, Socialist or Anti-Socialist, Capitalist or Communist, Radical or Progressive or Moderate that the Fabians will use any system, any political party or ideology to further their cause and indeed they have used every possible system to advance The Fabian State.

They exploit the desire for power, unabated power to influence politicians to support any legislation that would eventually bring about a centralized power structure to government. Using this method of stealth, they promote their centralized program of bureaucracy and as it evolves to a powerful force within the government. Gradually the legitimate Constitutional order is replaced by a bureaucratic order, which consolidates power and authority through the use of regulatory decrees, statues, and acts which subvert the Constitution and undermine the legitimate government, replacing it, over decades, with one which more closely resembles the Fabian Ideal.

In 1932, the Fabian journal called the New Statesman published an article of Professor Harold Laski, a leading figure in the Fabian Movement, in which he stated: "The necessity and value of delegated legislation and its extension is inevitable if the process of socialization is not to be wrecked by the normal methods of obstruction which existing parliamentary procedures sanctions.”

The Fabians seek to subvert the normal legislative system through infiltration and influence. In his book "The New Despotism” Lord Hewart stated that: "A mass of evidence establishes the fact that there is in existence a persistent and well-contrived system, intending to produce, and in practice producing, a despotic power which at one and the same time places Government departments beyond the sovereignty of Parliament and beyond the jurisdiction of the Courts.”

Like the British Parliament, the Legislature of the United States has not gone unaffected by Fabian Ideology; in fact our government has been transformed from a limited Constitutional Republic to that of a growing Socialist Construct. The expansion of bureaucracy is the primary instrument of influence used by the Fabians and it enables them to exercise an increasing power over every aspect of the individual. To date, there are few areas in which the Central Government does not have some influence over the individual and that influence is increasing as those within the bureaucracy advance the cause of Fabianism, knowingly or unknowingly.

Although seemingly a conflicting ideology, Capitalism is not beyond the touch of the Fabian Socialists, in fact, it has proven to be an indispensable tool to their agenda. In fact, history bears out that some of the wealthiest individuals and foundations in America have financed and supported both the Left and Right-Wing Socialist agenda from the Bolsheviks to the National Socialists. The Fabians however, have proved to be the most innovative when it comes to the use of Capitalism, and indeed they have used it to achieve what no other Socialist ideology could manage through their chameleon-like stealth.

This ideology came without need of a name, seemingly without organization, but it did come and was accepted as an American solution because the People of this country had become so politically naive to realize that the attempt to overthrow their government was completed with such efficient compliance. It was a revolution within the framework of existing law as they captured the seat of government, seized the economic structure of the country, mobilized their propaganda machine and then began the process of enslavement of the two most powerful forces in the country, the working class laborers and the farmers.

Instead of consuming corporations and liquidating business, they simply incorporated business into their plans by introducing a working relationship between government and business. The process continued with the domestication of the population making it possible to cultivate a dependency upon the government by the entire population. There were, of course, a few voices of dissent, but they were quickly stifled as being unpatriotic. Perhaps one of the more seditious methods of propaganda was the impartation of faith in the government and its ability to produce a vast and ever-increasing pool of public debt.

This revolutionary foe would, through deception and fraud, weaken all the powers that formed the foundation of the Constitutional Republic, this was to include the power of private and free enterprise, finance and of course the powers of both local and State governments. Everything was done by the ballot box, it proved to be the ultimate revolutionary tool and it continues to work to this day as the American People swallow the baited promises of both political parties. It was produced by the enemies of this country and of the American People, they are no less traitors today then they were during the New Deal.

In short, they think liberty is too dangerous for amateurs; don't try this at home, kiddies! Cass Sunstein wrote a book a few years ago called "Nudge" in which he said the best and brightest had to nudge the stupid moronic pleibeins for their own good, to make them go in the proper direction. That is the arrogance at the root of modern Progressivism and illustrates clearly how these people think.
