I went to visit my father today and, after watching the Russians beat Egypt in the World Cup (I imagine Robert Mueller will start looking into that too) we turned on Fox News. He and I both became quite angry at the whole network; clearly the leftward drift at Fox is becoming more pronounced.

For one thing Juan Williams was absent from The Five and his replacement was, drumroll please... Donna Brazil! Yes, the Democrat Partisan hack who gave Hillary Clinton the debate questions when she was a "journalist" was invited to sit on the panel of The Five. And, of course, they treated her with kid gloves, since she is a black woman and a "guest". Why would anyone think it appropriate to put someone like that on? That would have destroyed a conservative, especially a white conservative, permanently. Why is the network supposedly on our side giving someone like that the time of day? But what really frosted my begonias was the drumbeat against the Trump policy of ending catch and release. They were on Trump like ugly on an ape (an orangutan, actually) over this, talking about the "bipartisan pressure" for Trump to end "his" policy, a policy they described as "no tolerance".

First, this is a policy that has been around for a while. This is not something new to the Trump camp. Second, can you imagine how the media would treat this if it were an American who dragged their child over two thousand miles through extremely dangerous territory only to help aid and abet a crime? The Department of Family Services would take the child away for endangerment and neglect and possible other crimes. They would SEPARATE the family "for the good of the child" but in this instance, when the child is placed in an excellent daycare center with air conditioning, clean water, good nutritious food it is somehow evil.

I suppose bank robbers will start bringing their children to the heists. If we can't EVER separate children from their parents then this presents a "get out of jail free" card.

Never forget, it was the parents who put these children at risk. Keeping them united is tantamount to child abuse. Bear in mind, we do not know who these people coming in are, and we do not know if they have a right to custody over these kids? Are they sex traffickers? Don't know and, at least as far as the Democrats and media are concerned, don't care.

The reason this is coming to a head now is because Trump is obeying the law. The President promises in his oath of office to 'faithfully execute the laws of the United States". Past Presidents simply ignored the law, or worse, flouted it with the catch-and-release policy of Mr. Obama. So millions of aliens have invaded our country, been given a court date, then disappeared into the interior of America, never to be seen again (until they kill someone in a bad drug deal or drunk driving accident.)

But the real reason this is coming to a head now is because Paul Ryan, the Pee Wee Herman of the House of Representatives, is pushing for a vote on amnesty for the DACA aliens, and this is intended not so much to push Trump, or even the American Public, but the pucillanimous pipsqueeks in the Pachyderm Party. The media is trying to frighten the fainting goats of the GOP, and, with enough pressure and a bill delivered to Mr. Trump's desk, they hope he will fold as he did with the GOP omnibus spending bill.

See, we've got Trouble in River City, Yesss, SSSir! And we know exactly how we are going to save America from perdition! Grant amnesty, with chain migration and voting privileges and America will stop being so bad.

Interesting; the Fox people never mentioned any of this. They DID speak of the accusations against Trump, calling him Hitler. Funny; I never heard that Jews were sent to concentration camps for breaking IN to the Third Reich! I would never have guessed Auschwitz was set up to stop the invading Polish and Russian Jews.

If Trump is Hitler and this is such an evil policy, why are so many willing to risk it? People don't break INTO Hell, or even the Federal Prison at Marion, Illinois.

Naturally, the Left is trying to say this is unConstitutional. But even this immigration advocate arguing in The Hill admits this was an Obama-era policy - something being denied by many in the fake news media and Snopes.

Sooooo - this IS an Obama-era policy despite what the media is claiming. Here is her reasoning for why it is unConstiutional:

First, the kids aren't being punished - they are being protected. These are not good parents. A good parent does not drag a child across two thousand some odd miles of dangerous territory, through deserts and regions infested with poisonous spiders and scorpions and snakes, with drug cartels, with dirty water and intense heat. These are child abusers and putting the kids in a day care center is hardly "punishment". Rather, it is exactly what these parents claim to want. The parent can have them back any time if they would just go home, but they refuse. So they are temporarily separated and the kids then enjoy a fine vacation courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer.

Second, of course it works - if it would be allowed to proceed unmolested by such "advocates" as this woman. If nothing else, it keeps the aliens from simply disappearing into the bario. This is a monumentally stupid argument.

In her argument against the efficacy of the policy she admits as much:

"Even if parents hear that the U.S. government is separating families, for many parents the most important thing is that their children are safe"

So why is she and others like her unhappy? The kids are being kept very safe.

In point of fact, most of these "refugees" want a better life and they figure the Americans will give it to them if they can just break the plain of the country. Like a touchdown in football, they simply have to slide in. And, of course, "advocates" have been recruiting people to come to America, and the Mexican authorities have been happy to help, providing escort to caravans of people. It's a set up.

She goes on to falsely claim:

"Denying access to our asylum process is also a complete betrayal of our American values. Our country was founded by people fleeing persecution and our humanitarian principles say that we should offer safe haven to those escaping repression and violence around the world."

That's a lie. We have denied asylum many times in our history. Doesn't she remember that Franklin Roosevelt denied asylum to Jews fleeing Nazi Germany? Ever hear of the Coffin Ships? Or that we cut off ALL immigration in the 1920's and didn't restart it until Teddy Kennedy wrote his infamous bill making America the world's dumping ground?

She argues that this traumatizes the kids. Who traumatized them? seems to me their parents, that's who. We are doing a kindness by taking them away from these inattentive and careless people - if they even are the kids parents.

In an interview with Anne Chandler, executive director of the Houston office of the nonprofit Tahirih Justice Center we learn that:

"we will take sample sizes of numbers and individuals we’re seeing that are being prosecuted for criminal entry. The majority of those are free to return to the home country. Vast majority."

So, going home is not an option to those who are so upset about the policy. What they want, what the media and the Democrats and the Bush family demand, is catch-and-release, letting the invaders penetrate into the interior of our nation. That is all that is satisfactory to them.

She admits that those who come across the bridge at the legal crossing point are not prosecuted, yet she complains the others are.

The Catholic Archbishop of St. Louis came out with a statement condemning the policy and asking Catholics to write angry letters to protest. Why? Surely he knows that God ordained governments to make laws to protect people, and that we are supposed to obey those laws because they are ultimately from God Himself. These aliens coming to America are flouting those laws with impunity.

I direct the good Archbishop's attention to John 10:1:

"Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber."

And these people are coming over the fence, not through the sheepfold. What does that make them?

In the end it helps nobody. The countries that are exporting these people treat them as an unwanted commodity they want to rid themselves of, rather like a tire sales company looks for ways to get rid of old flat tires. The only reason these countries are so bad is because nobody cares to reform them, and nobody cares because they can outsource their "problem" to us. The ruling juntas can continue the bad policies that caused the problems in the first place. It's nothing but a form of outsourcing for them, a way to stick their hands in the pocket of America and make their problem become our problem.

This policy has been called every vile name in the book. Brutal, offensive, racist, evil, Nazi. But what is racist, evil, offensive, and Nazi like? Destroying the American culture, stealing our tax dollars, stealing our jobs, demanding we give them goods and services and make them citizens when they care so little about our laws or customs they think they can just force their way in. That is truly evil.
