Latinophobia and Caucasiiaphobia

I was wondering how long it would be berfore someone made this case. There IS a dearth of Hispanics on television compared to the number of black people, whom the Hispanics outnumber. But this is by design; the media doesn't want to spook white America with a flood of Latino faces, and they don't want to anger blacks who still think they are the largest minority. So the media treads lightly, trying to keep Hispanics under the radar by and large. If they didn't there would be growing demand for border security and not letting the floods of illegals into the country, and they know that full well.

I turned in to a football game to get an update and, of course, it was showing commercials. I watched the commercials while waiting for the game update. There were six commercials, in which 28 people were shown. Of those 28 people, 26 were black, one was brown, and one was white. The one white was a woman who had a black husband. I am just reporting, not commenting. The Rams were leading 9-0.

If we are supposed to have things "look like America" then four out of five people on commercials should be white. So why aren't they?
In my opinion it's to disspirity both white people and anybody who is in opposition to identity politics.
One thing it is not intended to do is sell products, the ostensible purpose of commercials. If it were it would appeal to the largest numbers.
Booooo! Watching the Rams! I was an avid fan when they were here but now despise them since that jerk owner spirited them away (after promising to keep them here.)

I understand your feelings, Timothy. The only two teams near me are the Rams and the Chargers, and the latter did to me what the former did to you. My options are limited.

It's a big part of why I stopped watching the NFL. That and all the woke crap.
I was watching the XFL when we got a team before the pandemic and will watch them again if they return (which is supposed to happen.) I prefer the NFL, but I'll take what I can get. (The XFL emphasizes passing and big plays and speed, which to me takes a lot of the strategy out of the game - the interesting part of football, in my opinion. But then the NFL has been moving in that direction for years too.)
