This is stupid beyond words. People EAT with knives. A knife can be made by sharpening any old chunk of metal. There is absolutely no way to stop people from obtaining a knife if they want. And while I sympathize with the bereaved mother I have to question her intelligence and perhaps her sanity.

You simply cannot take away any dangerous object from a potential killer. And you cannot legislate any and every danger. You can pass all the laws against gravity you like but you're still going to break your neck if you step off a cliff.

Liberals are losing all touch with reality.
